Warden Biomedia, filter media developed and made in the UK.
High performance filter media for biological treatment processes, designed for efficiency and available in 100% recycled material.
Our own range
Next generation filter media.
Alongside trade moulding and extrusion, Warden makes its own range of biomedia: filter media that maximise the performance of biological treatment processes. The products are protected by patents, registered designs and trademarks.
Biomedia has a high surface area and high voidage, suits new builds and retrofits, and is manufactured in the UK.
Research
Developed with Cranfield University.
A three-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Cranfield, partly funded by Innovate UK, embedded wastewater treatment knowledge at Warden and led to Biopebble, the latest generation sustainable filter media launched in June 2024.
